Hello everyone! Sorry for being so absent on this thang but I've been so busy doing my own thing that I didn't really have time to sit and focus on this bloggy but alas I AM BACK! Woop. I know I tend to say that a lot but I'm really trying. School and work have been nothing short of craziness and I also just celebrated my 23rd birthday, yay for me. So I've been just caught up in life, I guess. ANYWHO. I'm gonna bring you another fun hair tutorial that Rachel modeled for me. I was so excited to do this hairstyle cause it's so simple and fun and it's a great evening look for you gals. I also added a little fun element to her bangs. I really wanted to replicate that one photo I saw of Katy Perry at her Eylure premiere (google Katy Perry Eylure premiere and check out her blue french twist). I had an awesome time doing this hairstyle and my fingers turned a nice shade of bluish-purple afterwards, thanks Rachel.
Section off the hair. I separated her hair into three sections. I used her ear as my guideline.
I started by combing the majority of the hair back, as if I was putting it in a ponytail.
Instead of tying it up, I twisted it tightly (hence the twist in french twist).
As I was twisting, I twisted in an upward motion. This is the "kind of" tricky part. Begin by twisting and tucking the hair and pinning it tightly to the head. Make sure it's securely in place.
For the bangs, I combed it forward and rolled her bangs inward and securely pinned it to her head.
Taking the remaining pieces that we separated in the beginning, I criss-cross and bobby pinned it to the sides of the head.
Pin any fly aways and hairspray!
I added a cute bandana!
Tada!
Hope you guys enjoyed!
Ciao Bella!
