The cutest whittle manicure. I'm looking at this picture now and realizing how freaken long my nails were. It's kind of gross but anyway. I saw a tumblr post a while ago and it totally inspired me. I love cats and manicures, so why not combine them! Now, I know these little critters look more like weird asian animals, but this was my first attempt! You definitely need a sturdy hand for this but you get the hang of it after a while! I started off with a simple french manicure then extended the manicure and drew the ears and head of the cat then outlined it with a simple nail art brush in black. I also tried adding a nail full of polka dots but it looks more like a sad Dalmatian pattern.
This one was super cute and simple! Black and white, of course. I love combining both colors when it comes to nail art and I'm in love with polka dots! Anyone could do this one. I started doing the bottom half of my nails. You don't have to paint your entire nail, just half and then go over the other half of your nail with an opposing color. Add a few polka dots then BOOM. Beautiful manicure. This is just one of my favorite colors ever. A color called 'Endless Blue' by Sinful Colors. This color is super cheap (2 bucks at Target) and super bold and bright. It's a good polish for being super cheap. Doesn't chip for weeks and it's just an overall beautiful color.
I love the Sally Hansen's Salon Nail Effects. Super easy to apply and NO dry time! How awesome is that? You literally fit em to your nail, stick em on and you're left with a beautiful manicure. They have so many designs and colors to choose from and it's about the price of a bottle of regular polish. Super cute and it lasts. I usually finish with a top coat and leave it be. Check it out!
I'm in love with these 'cartoon' nails! They remind me of pop art or really cute Japanese nails. I love it! They're actually not that hard to achieve. The hardest part for me was outlining the nail. You kind of need a sturdy hand to achieve this look. You could honestly use any color and the black and white outlines help make that color truly pop. Try it out!
Along with nail art, I'm obsessed with ombre...ombre ANYTHING. Hair, clothes and nails! I love the fading effect. It's really pretty to me. I originally wanted to try this out in bright pink but I realized, I don't have any pink polishes. But I do have bright and electric blues so I thought, why not! I used a make up sponge to help create this effect. It's a bit tricky at first but once you realize you don't need that much polish to coat your nail, you get the hang of it. I think practicing on paper with your make up sponge to achieve the effect you want would be best.
Well I hope you enjoyed this random nail art post! Expect a lot more!
Ciao Bella!
